At this point, it won't be a part of 6.0 -- but I'm happy to look into sharing the code in a way suitable for inclusion in the main codebase, if people think that'd be useful. It should be made to work with our normal i18n mechanism at the very least, so people can easily customise/translate the wording.
Perhaps it would also be useful to have a configuration option so people can toggle between the fulltext preview and our version? I imagine the version that's in DSpace right now (the fulltext preview) was developed that way for a good reason and some people may be upset if that functionality just goes away.
