Hi Shawna,

This is the PDF encryption problem - at the bottom of my previous email.

You should grab an appropriate jar from:
http://www.bouncycastle.org/latest_releases.html

- in particular, as it is the 'BouncyCastleProvider' that is missing, you 
want to grab the appropriate Provider (left most column of the first table) 
for the JDK you are using. I'm not sure if you will need any of the JARs 
from the other columns (except the far right - 'test' - which you definitely 
don't need).

Just put it / them in the lib directory of your dspace installation and try 
the media filter again.
