And you must also download the latest version of pdfbox.jar (more  
specifically 0.7.4) at http://www.pdfbox.org/dist/.

The current 0.7.3 shipped in DSpace have a bug concerning encrypted  
files, which is corrected in the latest (unofficial) version.
