I have seen on my own setup, that you can successful authenticate as [email protected] (upper case) and [email protected] (lower case), yet only the lower case version will actually retrieve stats. I initially found this as a user was logging in as [email protected] rather than [email protected] and opened a support case that they could not see stats.
