I think it was either in the README or somewhere else in the update notes Brian NJ6N sent out to all about two weeks ago? I don't want to start "rumors" about what it will and won't do, but there were some notes from Brian and a note from Jim McClellan that said "Icom did give us some 'release notes' finally" or something like that... to the Admins of the Gateways. Probably from the Admin list? Somewhere buried in all of that, I read about there being a new DB table that tracked local users directly...??? Hopefully I didn't read too much into it... It'd be pretty easy to test... if our Gateway was up here. The wireless ISP took some lightning damage in the only storm to hit the site all season (knock on wood)... bummer for them. They think they'll have the Ethernet port and/or switch replaced/repaired that feeds W0CDS, sometime tomorrow. We've been offline since sometime Saturday, as best as I can tell. Gotta love it... 2nd highest lightning strike State in the country. We spend a lot of effort on grounding and lightning protection on mountain-top repeaters here. Ethernet tends to be problematic to protect properly, though. (Interestingly, dplus will happily tell us it's "linked" and "unlinked" to Reflectors when there's absolutely no IP connectivity beyond our router right now. LOL! Funny. That threw me off for a day or so... then I realized that it's not smart enough to know... I guess? Strange behavior, but I'm not worried about it.) Nate WY0X
