Thanks for the info on GPS-A, that is something I hadn't considered (and indeed 
didn't even know existed) but I certainly see the benefit inherit with the 
design change. I'm not sure it will apply to me, but I learned something new 
about D-Star today. Always a good thing!

You say it gets hot on transmit, how hot are we talking? Burn my hand off and 
cauterize the wound hot, Dangerous to the health of the radio hot, or 
uncomfortable to hold hot?

Does the 92 not suffer from this heat problem?
