I do not know much about the 91AD but I own a 92AD. So I really can't compare the two, however I can say that if you weight what you wish to spend against what you want it to do then you can get the answer. There are downsides to both. I wanted GPS. I find it funny that the Users guide uses digital and setting up the GPS together. In fact from what I read they expected it to go hand in hand with Digital. It must be kind of off since I have read the posts and see that some of the reflectors do not allow GPS data. I like using it for other things besides showing others where I am. I like to write the GPS figures for other places that I go to.
Like I said. Money, what you want should be the factor in the purchase. I imagine the 91AD is just as good as the 92AD since they are both my ICOM. I like the brand and have never had a problem with mine. Good Luck with your decision. 73's James Wells KDØAJZ
