Hi all again!
OK, I think the original problem is still there. In previous messages, I
told you about the battery not looking like it was charging, than, in a
second message, I told how I discovered that the PB had to be turned on to
realize that there was a battery, and how it was now charging it.
Well, it doesn't charge it. It consistently does always the same thing when
I insert the battery. After 20-30 minutes, the battery status changes from
the recharge one to the inactive one. It just stops recharging it. I've
tried 3 or 4 times now, and I always get the same result.
Now, what does that mean? I have the proper adapter for the 280c, according
to Apple's tech note, which is model M2693.
Is it that the 280c can't recharge a Type IV battery? Or is it something
else I don't know? I don't have to "condition" the battery, do I?
Thanks in advance for any help!
-Laurent.
