Hi, Good Morning,

I had the Speed Doubler extension installed on this 2300 when I got it
and I have not found it to be a problem at all and find that it does
accelerate many programs. I usually run Norton's 4.0x with extensions
off and wondered what the heck had happened when I saw Norton ripping
through the files once when I had it running with the extensions on :-).
It's much faster than my old 5300 was without it.

Running the 2300 on gray scale instead of color also speeds browsing
and computing. So does switching off the images in the browser when on
the net (and as added benefit: it saves one from advertising
bombardment). Actually, I wish WannaBe would let the user fill out
forms, I might not use anything else to surf if it did.
