Those sound like good tips!
I ran Speed Doubler when I had a 2300. The only time I noticed it actually
slowing things down was if I copied a single small file to floppy or another
Mac. It took Speed Doubler longer to auto-launch than it would have taken
the finder to copy that one file. Otherwise I like it.
I also like RAM Doubler much more than Apple's Virtual Memory. VM always
"stole" what little hard disk space was available to use as scratch. RAM
Doubler does not. So if you were Doubling 32MB to 64MB it was reserving 64MB
or almost 9 percent of a 750MB drive.
