This brings back lovely memories of a great book. It was very sad Pirsig's
son who rode with him in the book, OD'ed a few years back.
Now I'll have to go and dig my copy out of some stored box. I have to
confess I've left "Zen" mode as after a while the 2400 isn't all that bad.
When I'm in "test mode" I tempt fate and sometimes only reassemble mine with
maybe a dozen screws for a quick take down to swap CPUs (This was when my
G3-320 was failing--just when Interware and Newer were going out of biz). It
survived a blitz trip to the USA and the Far East back in December missing
most of the screws.
