you don't want to get into an X-files paranormal paranoia, BUT you do need to
put MAJOR pressure on them to PRODUCE results IMMEDIATELY. I would be BESIDE
myself if it were ME!
I would want NAMES, bosses names, ID #s, phone numbers, and whoever tells you
ANYTHING, they need to be called BACK! so you can verify they are REAL!
I would cause them such a STINK, calling all the time, almost harrassing them
to GET THEIR ASSES in gear and GET your laptop BACK TO YOU that they would
not easily FORGET who you ARE!
that is my humble harsh opinion!
it has worked WONDERS for me in the past. My run in with Paypal was just
that. after waiting 3 months for their so called customer service and buyer
protection plan, it was horrible waiting that long for MY OWN money to show
back up into my own acct.
