I'm not sure if removing the Apple Ethernet extensions was a good thing. I
don't remember removing any Ethernet extension after I did install the
Asante driver on my 2300c. Might be worth putting them back, or adding them
back using the system CD.

I think there is an archive for this list. Maybe worth trying a search
there.
