That's excellent food for thought Dan, I do remember messing with the SCSI
speed issue when I first set mine up. I think I even installed an extension
that slowed SCSI down but it didn't help.
But in Nancy's original message she indicated that she is not even able to
get the 2300 to recognize that it has an alternative ethernet option in the
AppleTalk control panel.
I think this may be because of the removal of some Apple ethernet extensions
that Nancy also mentioned in her first post.
Nancy, you might want to make sure to put back the extensions you removed.
As I mentioned in a previous post (and as Laurent also mentioned) they may
be necessary for the 2300 to access ethernet. At the very least, even if
they aren't needed, they won't interfere in the Micro EN/SCs operation (once
you get it working).
