The G4/450MHz/64MB/20GIG DVD Cube now has a base price of $1299 new. The
next model up, 450MHz/128/20GIG CD-RW is $1599. They also dropped the price
of the Cinema display to $2999, down $1000.
BTW, did you realize that the Titanium will operate with the screen closed?
If someone built a combination Bookendz/monitor stand you would have almost
the ultimate Duo. It could be made of the same acrylic as the Cube. You
could insert the Ti into a shelf-type setup (think of the Ti as a drawer you
slide into the unit) that would also allow you to slide a keyboard under the
Titanium and set a monitor on top.
