Web work is *all* I do on my 2400c and I can honestly say the loss of 
montor real estate is not that big a deal. Portability and plenty of 
speed (even with a stock 180MHz) can be found in the 2400c.

Having said that, if you need the extra monitor space, Cardbus, more 
meory than 80Mb, and even extra batteries, I'd go for a good deal on a 
used Wallstreet/Pismo. Just be prepared to lug around 9+lbs.

Don't bother upgrading the 1400c. The memory cap on them is what kills 
them in my mind, and the slow bus.
