I bought the clear cover on eBay for $15. As for the solar panel BookCover,
they do exist, but they only charge a battery which has to be removed from
the bay and connected to the panel via a cable. It's not a supplemental
power source. Plus they typically fetch over $200! The first time I saw one
on eBay it had a Buy-It-Now price of $45. At the time I didn't realize the
value of them (nor did the owner) or I would have snapped it up! As it went,
someone started a normal bid on it and it sold for $210.

I've not owned a 2400 so I haven't experienced it but it's one of the more
frequent topics to come up. Of course, this list is like the news, for the
most part we only hear the bad. I'm sure there are many 2400 owners that
have not experienced GLOD.
