Battery life really varies from unit to unit at this point b/c any 2400c
you buy is going to be used. For instance, my battery life is only very
slightly over an hour after heavy pounding. The battery is weakening sort
of since it loses charge after a few days if I leave it off and don't
recharge it. But that's *my* experience. Plenty of other people get
better performance, as Bill has pointed out.
BTW, I was at my local Apple dealer yesterday (also a 2400c user) and he
casually mentioned that Apple was coming out with a tablet-form computer
maybe as soon as this summer that will be the "replacement" for the
Newton and, he seemed to suggest, it would double as a subnotebook.
He's pretty much in the know. I'm wondering if this rumored model will
follow any of Sony's tries with pad-like products. Any thoughts?
