I find this temporary freezing very annoying. I might go back to OS 8.1.
Does anybody know if this happens with OS9?

I have a similar problem that just crept up recently. My 2400c/400 will just
stop doing anything for about 20-30 seconds. And then start working again as
though nothing happened. Some kind of sleep apnea for Powerbooks? I've used
8.6 for a long time, and never had this until recently.
I can enter mouse clicks or whatever while 'frozen' and then when it 'thaws'
all these clicks get applied in rapid succession.
Don't know what I did, but it's probably something I caused with extensions...
