I'm not sure if it is a benefit (as Marc points out). However, for certain
ADB devices in my experience, it is. If sleep-swapping in the past has
always worked for your devices, there really is no benefit that I am aware
of.

I have attempted 9 when it came out, and then reverted to 8.6. I tried 9.0.4
when it came out (at that point, I had a 400G3, and 112MB RAM), and reverted
back to 8.6. I just tried 9.1 two weeks ago, and reverted back to 8.6

I don't use VM, and I suffered an 8 MB loss from 8.6 to 9.x I found the
stability VERY unimpressive, and the speed noticeable slower. The only
benefit I found was the keychain, and that's because I regularly use 3 apps
that support it. But I'd trade re-typing in my passwords regularly for loss
of speed and stability anyday.

Cheers,

Jay
