Dear Jerry,
Basically, I agree with you. My motive for keeping the DuoDock up and
running is to limp along with it until I can buy a portable with 1Ghz
processing speed. At that point, I figure it will be fast enough to
provide optimal performance with a conventional modem. At home I use a G4
and am planning to get ethernet soon. The G4 and the DuoDock are linked
together so that I can easily exchange files. The only time I use the
portable is when I'm traveling.
