No airbrush, just a special kind of spray paint and a lot of patience.
I used 'Pactra' paints from Testors. It is designed for RC Cars, so
it is very tough (I have yet to scratch it in 5 months of use!)
I have the URL for them around somewhere... I'll dig it up.
The company logo on the lid was done in a pretty primitive manner. I
described it on-list once before (and I see that you asked about it
then too. =)

My only complaint now is that without the rough finish of the
original plastic the 2400 picks up a lot of finger-yuck. I *really*
need to clean it up. In some of the pictures you can see it, but up
close it is readily apparent. It buffs off OK, but it takes some
serious elbow grease to do so.
