Not just the flyback but a diode near it and the connector to the yoke are
also known to burn up as well.  The flyback is the worst however.

It'd be blowing like fireworks.  IIRC one of the first computer that runs on
vaccuum tubes (ENIAC I believe) had so many tubes it required several
technicians to be on hand.  If I remember the article correctly, one tube
burned out every 7 minutes.

I'd hate to see the dumpster of that building.
