Man I can't believe you are going to give up.  All you have to do is 
ground pin 4 to 10 (or something like that I'd have to actually read the 
docs to know for sure).  We are not talking rocket science here.  Just 
connecting one wire to another.  You can do it too.  It is actually very 
easy.
