Aye, Paul, you're in deep. The Graphite base station has a Lucent/Orinoco "silver" card in it which matches up perfectly with your old Farallon card and software. The White model, however, contains an Apple Airport card using 128-bit encryption. Your Farallon card can't do that. Maybe a new version of the Farallon card would. Otherwise, for a sure thing, get yourself a Lucent/Orinoco 'Gold" card for your computer, as it matches up fine with the Snow station. I'm not sure, though, which version of Airport software will work for a 9.0.4 machine. I use OS 8.6 in my Comet, Airport 1.3.1, an Orinoco silver card, and figure I'll have to keep using the old base station too, just for the Comet. But lately I've been mostly using a Pismo/500 with my new White model base station, Airport 2.0.4 software, along with OS 9.2.1. "Heaven, I'm in heaven..."
