2400
Three batteries

Earlier question seems to have got dragged off into PRAM batteries.

I'd wonderered only what others where doing when switching between
batteries when working away from a power source. Shutdown each time,
or sleep and quick swap (just a matter of a few seconds).

Had known a gadget that was a 9 volt battery connected to a power-in
plug that bridged these few seconds (PowerBook 160 days). Now was
wondering whether any one knew of gadget/trick to perform a similar
function with our 2400s.

There is no question of running the 2400 on this thing, nor storing
the machine. Just...

1. sleep
2. plug in battery/cable thing
3. swap batteries
4. remove battery/cable thing
5. wake from sleep

Yes, of course save your work before doing so, and no, not a solution
for either running the powerbook, nor storing, nor recharging the
PRAM battery.

Just a power bridge while swapping batteries to avoid shutdown/restart delays.

How do you guys do the swap?

Marc
