Are you quite certain of this? I wasn't aware that there was any way to
connect a passive display to a stock 2300c logic board. Colour or monochrome
doesn't matter so this doesn't affect anyone putting a 2300c board in a 250,
270[c] or 280[c], but it does prevent the board being used in a 210 or 230
case if you'd like internal video (and if I'm correct). It also means that
they would have to have made two (2) PPC Duo logic boards. ;)
Also, the upgrade didn't come with a Type III battery as far as I recall
(would have been nice for $2000 Canadian). And the end user not only wasn't
required but wasn't (originally) allowed to perform the operation; you
(meaning I) had to get it done at a dealer, more expensively and less
carefully. :P
Can anyone confirm that I'm wrong, ie. by locating a passive LCD connector
on the stock 2300c board (and preferably testing it with a 210/230 display)?
