In my opinion this goes back to the same thing as GlobalQSL. If someone sends you an electronic card and you print it out, then send a confirmation back it is no different. You are still NOT electronically verifying the way eQSL does, but verifying the card manually. I wouldn't think it would matter who printed it out. You can use various vendors to print cards for you using the same format and they will not turn out the same either.

There is no question that the first few to go through might get through but most of us if we kept seeing a variety of card sizes and hand cut cards would flag this sort of thing to the DXCC Desk. They in turn would have to decide what to do. Probably request a few of the cards be sent in for a physical checking and once you have 20 or so cards on hand it would become vary easy to spot. Remember there is no consistency when different printers and inks are used even if the original file is the same PDF. 73 Garth VE3HO ______________________________________________________________ Dxbase mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dxbase Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected]
