You can use those old drives from old dead computers that accumulate around the house (well at least in my house). It has an eSATA jack as well as a USB2 connection. I went thru the 20 or so drives I had stacked in my storage room and found a lot of old files I was glad to find. Plus they can act like Huge flash drives since i have one of these by all three of my computer setups so I can copy something on one machine and move it to another with no problem.
