I remember paying $15,000 for removable 25 MB Ibm Disk Cartridges for our IBM 370 at my place of employ in the late 70s. Things looked like the original Star Trek enterprise. Thought that was the greatest thing in the world! I would come in at midnight, copy a cartridge to another cart, upgrade DOSVM on the copy and know that all it took was a quick yank to fall back. It also was very handy in the bomb threat, we could grab those suckers and run for the hills with no problems at all!
