Different strokes I guess. I tried v2007 when it was first introduced and it offered zero improvement *for the way I use the program* so I never upgraded. Previously, I had upgraded yearly going back to v2000, so this wasn't any slap at anyone, but if I want to be charitable, I give to local charities.
I only upgraded recently because of the promise of a new version. Nothing has changed, the program still does nothing more for me that does v2005 and since I didn't overwrite 2005 I can directly compare the two, and unlike your observation, I see time displayed to four digits in 2005 and six in 2007. Frankly, although I've been subscribed to this reflector for many years, I haven't really read it much until the new version was announced so I suppose I missed the discussion about the display change.
