Regarding DynAPI2 vs. Flash...good luck.

Flash is closer than ever to being a development platform in and of itself.
It's got an object-oriented scripting language, socket connectivity,
DOM-like functionality, XML support, and an IDE that kicks butt. What is
the percentage of browsers out there with the Flash player installed?
Something like 85%+? And on just about every major platform, too.

As a coworker once pointed out to me, Flash has delivered on everything
client-side Java had promised. To some extent, that's very true.

DynAPI2 is a UI tool, with a few enhancements. It's become a DHTML version
of Java AWT. Let's recognize it for what it is. It's not even close to
being competitive with Flash. Hell, to some extent Flash is more powerful
than DOM.

All these efforts to enable things like private/public methods, dynamic code
loading, external content, remote scripting, etc. are all hacks. It's
pointless to even argue about the best way to do these things when the core
API is essentially rewritten every few months.
