I agree 100% with you for the "fancy" operations (viewing branch, tags, ..)
BUT
I disagree 100% for the "cvs import". 
It's pretty basic, and it's mandatory. It's not of the fancy operations.
It's not a gadget.

Would you accept having to use a separate file manager to create directories in your 
project?
I think not. It's basic, simple, and you can't live without it.


Importing the project is part of the project creation. 
It could be handled by the "new project" wizard.
Oops. I said "wizard".
