Hi Eugene, 509 is definitely faster than 508, but still slower than 505. This behaviour seems also tp depend on the system environment. My colleague is using the same hardware, but RedHat 7.1 (I'm using RedHat 7). He's also using an older Sun JDK 1.3.1 build, I'm using Blackdown JDK 1.3.1 FCS. His IDEA behaves visibly faster than mine. :-(
Currently I've switched back to 505. All build since the 506 are much slower. But this only seems to be during drawing operations. Compiling, searching etc. is as fast as before. mue Eugene Zhuravlev wrote: > We measured 509 perfgormance here and found that 509 is much faster than > 508.
