No, I am not, and I don't like your attitude on this, especially trying to
paint me as classist, which I am not. (And I didn't have a $50,000
education either, so don't try to hook that label on me!) What I am saying
is that a person who has invested all of that in to trying to better their
education and skills should be paid something commesurate for their effort.
And certain professions at this point require higher pay. I have a cousin
who is an M.D., and the amount she has to pay for medical malpractice
insurance is outrageous, $100,000 a year. How is she supposed to pay for
that if she were to make $9 an hour?
You all are all talking about an idealistic utopian idea. That's great, go
ahead, I just don't think it's feasible.

Hardly respectfully, kylie, that is flame-bait. you seem to be
demonstrating, to me, a reverse classism of the underclass. I find what you
said exceedingly insulting and hardly in the spirit of "solidarity." This
is more of the "us vs them" thinking which is what is causing the problems
in society, and heats up the gender problesm. There is no them. We are all
"us."
You would be alot more effective in your posts if you refrained from nasty
personal little digs, which do nothing but alienate people. We are all in
this together, so i suggest that you make an effort to be a little nicer in
your posts, or at least make an attempt to not direct personal attacks on a
public list.
