I don't necessarily agree Kylie,a lot of people that I communicate with live
in Australia, and they are all very polite, even when they disagree. They
don't make personal attacks, like calling someone a "classist." And most of
them follow nettiquette. That's not *rules* per se, but rather common
standards of courtesy.
Which human beings do to get along. Otherwise we would all be at each
other's "cyberthroats" as someone said.

All right, I am. Though I am not so certain that this is the best way to do
this, and there is a difference between debating someone and insulting them,
Kylie.
Kylie, are you familiar with the concept that with complete freedom comes
complete responsibility? This means essentially, that you are responsible
for what you say (and do) and how it comes across. So if you say something
that makes a person mad, then have tolerance for their anger, and try to
understand why they might get angry. It seems to me Kylie, that the only
person you want *tolerance* for is yourself, when you spew out uninformed
judgements and assumptions, which are not very responsible, nor very
"tolerant". You are free to say what ever you want, Kylie, but don't call
*foul* then if you piss someone off, especially when you personally attack
them. And don't act so surprised. If you want freedom to say what you
will, then expect to be called on it if you personally attack someone. Take
responsibility. Remember, there are human beings on the other end of the
ascii and if you say things that are personally insulting to them then you
are going to get a reaction, because you are tromping on people's feelings,
*whom you **don't** even know*.
