Hi friends,

I've incorporated your suggestions, and here's a current list. If anyone
would like to make additions/suggestions/changes, of course go right ahead;
it's a living document, not a set-in-stone contract. The next step, I
suppose, would be to figure HOW BEST to implement these changes....I turn it
over to all of you for digestion/discussion/and making it happen! Thanks for
the response, and if I left out anyone's, please re-send it; I was hittin'
that delete key pretty hard there for awhile, and may have messed up.

Agenda of the ecofeminist list (revised 1/25/99):

1. To recognize the ways in which patriarchal society has contributed to the
destruction of the earth; to recognize the strong similarities between the
domination of men over women and that of some humans over those of other
races, cultures and religions; and to recognize the similarities between the
domination of men over women and that of humans over other living things.

2. To seek paths that free us from the patriarchal paradigm of domination, and
therefore allow more respect for the earth, for women, and for all creatures.

3. To discover the best means of accomplishing a difference for environmental
health, biodiversity and women's liberation, and to engage in action to do so.

4. To promote healing between the genders, as such healing is the basis of
fertility.

5. To promote conservation and ecotechnology and to oppose pollution and
deforestation.

6. To encourage the reduction of the human population to a nonintrusively
globally sustainable level.

7. To encourage with wisdom, rather than with censure, the flowering of all
souls and species.

Also feel free to reject anything I wrote; I was just tryin' to get that
proverbial ball rolling, and am not defensive about this!

Love, Jane
