I agree 100% with Mike.
Do a search on the EDI-L group with 'drummond certification AS2', and you'll 
find the following:

"Actually, the person who owns Drummond Group was one of the main people behind
the RFC. The real issue here is 'certification', and the ridiculous costs 
related to that. Last I heard, it was $60,000 US to start, then $25,000 US per 
year after that."

This is the primary reason why 'certified' AS2 software is so expensive.
