Rik Drummond was the chair of the EDIINT committee.

I don't have a problem with him profitting from his experience & contributions,
but a $60,000 certification process is a bit much.

In many RFCs, the tests are published and don't need expensive certification.
Perhaps HTTP or ftp is a simplistic comparison, but they are easy to test
without expensive 'certification', and either work correctly, or do not.

The Open AS2 project http://www.openas2.org/ has all the pieces, but I don't
think anyone has put them to work in a product, yet.

As long as WalMart insists on using 'certified' software, their suppliers will
have to pay for overpriced AS2 software.
