There are two free AS2 packages available at SourceForge.net, both
require Java.  

The first MEC-AS2 ( http://sourceforge.net/projects/mec-as2/ ) has
already been mentioned in this thread.  

The second is the OpenAS2 ( http://sourceforge.net/projects/openas2/ )
package.  This package has not been updated in quite some time but I
still recommend it to customers.  There is a "compatibility" forum
that lists other AS2 products that OpenAS2 works with.  One minor
drawback, it doesn't do asych MDN's but someone has finished work on
this function and we are all waiting for the update code to be posted.
