Yeah, github's wiki is not great. But, they provide good web-page
hosting.

So, the combo of http://tianocore.github.io/ and the wiki at
https://github.com/tianocore/tianocore.github.io/wiki/Projects seems
to be reasonable.

Github does provide an automatic svn mirror for their git repos, so,
for instance, svn clients can use:

I think we'd prefer to stick with something that is maintained by
others. In particular, I think a hosted service would do better with
the constantly evolving spam issue.
