Hi As far as I understand...
IBM is currently very much behind the OPEN SOURCE market in the sense that they realise it's more 'open' (no pun intended) for them to get new customers. Also, I was at an IBM conference 2 months ago on Websphere Studio Application Developer which is based on Eclipse www.eclipse.org. They claimed, "Yeah it's based on open source and Yeah our competitors can use our innovations, but we are more focused on being the first ones there and not keeping ALL to ourselves." I applaud IBM's new stance as being a market specialist and not JUST being the market!! -----Message d'origine----- De : A mailing list for Enterprise JavaBeans development [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]De la part de daniel legziel Envoy : Wednesday, March 06, 2002 6:20 PM : [EMAIL PROTECTED] Objet : enterprise solutions (as off topic as it gets) For which reasons????????? =========================================================================== To unsubscribe, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and include in the body of the message "signoff EJB-INTEREST".
