Yes I do understand the difference. But what I was asking was why Linux was chosen over ZOS when they are both OSs. And the answer to that (self generated) is that Linux OS is hipped with shit that only comes with websphere which is a platform. Hence the confusion. Your comment was lucid as a cavern.
