The weird part about this is that it hears great on 6M ! If the SWR was truly high, I shouldn't be able to hear squat. Engaging the PR6 preamp does its usual thing, increases signal (and noise a bit).
It's like the SWR meter is just deciding to indicate high when it's not - and of course the output power is folded back. 73, Jamie WB4YDL -----Original Message----- From: Ron D'Eau Claire [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Friday, July 01, 2011 12:05 PM To: 'James C. Ron AC7AC -----Original Message----- No the ATU is in bypass and the correct antenna is selected. In fact, trying to use the antenna tuner on the 6M antenna was fruitless. As I seem to recall, the ATU does not work on this band. 73, Jamie WB4YDL -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean. -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean. ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
