I'll repeat what I said previously today (to the guy hearing the whine from his KPA3)...contact k3support at elecraft.com or gary at elecraft.com. You'll reach a solution much faster dealing with folks (like Gary AB7MY) who know the K3 better than 99.9% of the people on this list (myself included).
I simply cannot understand why folks post to a general list rather than going to Elecraft in the first place?
