=========== Joe, this is where to start. You can get device manager several ways. One way is to click your Start button to get the start menu. At the right, you'll see a list of stuff, one of which is Computer. Right-click that, and click Properties. Another window will appear, and Device Manager will be on it. Click it and you'll soon know which port is assigned to your USB/Serial converter. When you see the converter's port, right-click it, and click properties. A window will appear. There will be a tab called Port Settings. On that tab, you can set the port's baud rate. Make it match the K3's. Then the utility oughta work.
