Dave,

the MFJ remote tuner allows to set it to bypass mode easily, by turning
the power OFF on the BIAS-T in the shack. So I'm only using the K3 tuner
on 80 meters. But you're right it's not the greatest setup on 80m but does
get some signal out, I'm not very active on that band indeed.
