I have N1MM+ and a K3 working together on CW, with no interface. My K3 does
have the KIO3b option, though I don't know if that matters.
I don't remember having to do anything other than plug and play, using the
USB-serial cable from Elecraft. To get them to communicate requires
configuring the ports and protocols in the N1MM+ program, through the
file:config tabs, but I am sure you have done that already. What happens when
you try it?

I?m trying to get my K3S and N1MM+ to work on cw without an interface
(which I have used in the past). I?ve tried a couple of the suggestions I?ve
seen on the reflector but none of them seem to work.
I?m sure someone has figured out an easy way to do this and would
appreciate the info.
