-----Original Message----- Oh No! Instead of toroids, I have to build power pole connectors!
Is there a Power Pole Guy out there? :-) 73, Henry - K4TMC ------------------------ Boy, I'm with you Henry. APP - they're great if you're seriously into gear and have lots of rigs. Then you can spend the $50 for the tool and it's no big deal. I have one rig. I'm NOT going to spend $50 for a crimp tool to do 2 connections. Yet, crimping is the right way to do these. I soldered the ones for my K2/100 and will end up doing the same for those with the K3, all the time wishing they were crimped. Actually, maybe I should buy the top-dollar crimper, a case of APP connectors and a spool of 12 ga wire, and become the Power Pole Guy. Or not. - Keith N1AS - - K2 5411.ssb.100 - - K3 wave 3 - _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [email protected] You must be a subscriber to post to the list.
