In fact, you can access the FTP site directly from within the K3
Utility Help screen if you wish - just click on the link
(ftp://ftp.elecraft.com/K3/firmware) given in the "Manual File
Transfer" help topic. An instance of Windows file explorer should
appear (framed within the help screen) displaying the files, and then
you may highlight them all, right click and use "Copy to Folder" to
put them where you wish. No special FTP client is required in this
case, which should work on Windows XP and Vista, but of course the PC
must be connected to the internet.
